Wine selection is excellent! The food menu has some unique items as well. The atmosphere and outside seating is amazing. Arrive early as seating can be hard to find.

I didn't try the food, but the wine and service are top notch!! Beautiful interior and big patio right on the main street social district in downtown. The tenders are very sweet, accommodating and knowledge. The Malbec was delicious.
This shoppe has a beautiful and welcoming interior. The shopping center in which it is located is also quite beautiful. I was impressed before I even made my way to the wine racks. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I called ahead to make sure they had a decent sake selection, and to my surprise the young woman that answered the phone seemed genuinely excited to help me. When I arrived, and made my way to the sake, she approached me, ask me a couple questions about what I like, and helped me pick out the perfect bottle for me. The entire experience was very comfortable and relaxed, and I left with a smile feeling confident about my purchase. The sake she helped me select was absolutely wonderful. Normally I try to be objective and find at least one flaw when leaving a review, but I simply cannot find one. Hickory Wine Shoppe will be the only place I buy wine from this day forward. They have earned a lifetime customer. Thank you for an amazing experience, if I could give you more than 5 stars then I would.
One of our most favorite spots downtown Hickory to have great wine, a fabulous charcuterie with a really great vibe. Never disappoints
Inviting atmosphere inside & outside. Nice variety of apps to accompany the wine selection. Especially enjoy the brie, the Super Tuscan, & on a warm evening the blueberry mango wine slushie. Good spot for date night or to catch up with friends.

Stopped by today for a few bottles of wine. Super nice people! Large selection of all types of wine. We didn’t sit in but I would want too. Maybe next time.
